Dec. 5, 2006, 2:56 p.m.First, this is NOT just a chrisitan season. These holiday events were taking place long before Jesus supposedly came around. So, go AHEAD, celebrate! This is a time of year for all of us to enjoy family, friends, good will - these are old, old traditions for this season. Jesus may be the "reason for the season" for Chrisitans, but as for the rest of us, we will go back to the roots of it all and enjoy for ourselves.

Dec. 5, 2006, 4:08 p.m.Exactly. It's a time for everyone. Being with Family and Friends, it's really is a great time of the year. I know that Pagans were celebrating the solstice at the same time long before there was a Christianity. Happy solstice everyone.

Dec. 5, 2006, 5:24 p.m.I don't have any tinsel on my Festivus pole. It really reminds me of a stripper pole, which relly isn't a bad thing.

Dec. 5, 2006, 9:47 p.m.I think I'll stick with Christmas, an aluminium pole as my tree, being told how I disappointed people through out the year, then wrestled to the floor is not what I had in mind. To each his own, have a good time everyone.
