Should America impeach President Bush? Immpeachement should only be the beginning »
Posted by: gatitabonitasen 1 year, 4 months agoIf you support this country and its troops, you would also most likely support the formulation of a plan to bring our men and women home from Iraq. And though the election for president is over a year away, some believe it is not soon enough. A poll located on the Web site Commondreams.org reported that 52 percent of American adults believe Pre

It's hard to figure out who to trust, though. this whole regime needs to be brought to terms. but, who out there is better?
I think anyone who is looking to secure our Mexican borders would be my choice...and the only candidate for President I can come up with is Tom Tancredo from CO.
If Bush/Cheney were impeached, that would put Pelosi in charge...not sure we'd be taking a step upward. very scary!

NoSpin...what is your feeling about the influx of immigration? i think that's a subject worth discussing. it effects our national security, job security, our social welfare programs, our wages, bringing our country down to 3rd world status...I could go on and on.
does something like this meet your criteria? if we all don't take a stand here and demand a moratorium on immigration, we will be in a civil war on this soil. Hey, maybe that's a way to get our troops back home.

It certainly looks like the laws of this land have been broken. Our constitution is under constant attack.. My pet dog would be a better President than the current pretender.

I agree that it most likely will not happen, and it's a national disgrace that impeachment proceedings against Bush and his entire administration have not already begun. I hate to say it, but it looks as if our own democratic leaders lack the moral fortitude to do what should be done.
The fact that we have not brought impeachment proceedings against Bush only serves to further lower our country's image in the eyes of the world.

You state that "NO CRIME has been committed".
Where would you like to start?
Try this!
www.Bushcrimes.net
and
www.bushcommission.org
Murder, conspiracy to commit murder, theft of Iraqi property, theft by deception, SEC crimes, crimes against the Geneva Convention, military & civilian casualties both US and foreign, corporate fraud to Haliburton. Treasonous matters regarding the outing of the CIA operative Valerie Plame.
Wiretapping, Interjecting Signing statements into bills that ultimately reverse the meaning of what was intended, which in my mind is fraud against the American people and Congress.
And if this isn't enough...
Impeachment should be on the table for taking the oath (twice) to protect the Constitution and then trashing it.
Which one of these would you like to dispute since you can't think of any for yourself?

Clinton should have stood up and admitted it and told everyone to let it alone so he could work it out privately with his family. Someone has tried impeach for any and every thing. Facts the world thought Iraq had WMD including the UN. To many have selective memory. Clinton did nothing to be impeached for because it had nothing to do with our security. Bush has done everything in the interest of security

Finally someone who see it clearly & correctly. Thank you!
"In the interest of security" - whether those thing were right or wrong or whether you agree with his decisions or not, I think you have it correctly. Disagreement by some (or even all) is a far cry from intent to harm.

swstroup, Clinton lied under oath while holding the highest public office! There is your reason for Impeachment. Someone needs to check their facts before posting. As far as having nothing to do with our security, Do you want someone that lied and perjured himself to be in charge of your sercurity. Common sense tells you NO!

for a mouth on pole rescusitation? come on dude! You're kidding, right?
Look, I understand your love and appreciation of Bush/Cheney. But, dude, we are an embarrassment to the eyes of the ENTIRE WORLD thanks to this regime. Our whole concept of being a super power no longer exists...we are limp poles...
I am certain impeachment will not happen. the reality: we have to wait until 8 years are up and do some major smudging with sage in the oval office and all of its affilliates.

The trouble is, Dubya and his gang have already put their "5th Column" in the Justice and other Departments.
Better to wait 'till the next President has had a chance to clean out the Government, detoxify the White House and the Supreme Court(can anyone, except Texans, imagine Gonzalez as a Supreme Court Justice?)and speak some backbone into the Congress...
The story will eventually be told of Connecticut White- Trash that sought its fortunes among the uneducated rich of Texas Oil Speculators and how they brought down this once proud and much-admired country!
