President Bush's penchant for slash-and-burn politics, learned at the feet of Karl Rove and the late Lee Atwater, is unseemly when practiced at home. It is shameful for the president and damaging for the country when put on display abroad.

The world knows all about george. I wouldn't worry that he'll have any impact on their opinions of his political enemies.

when I saw this headline I thought it was about bush's approval rating, cause if there's one guy who could possibly get a negative approval rating, it'd be bush.

but seriously, bush did break an unwritten rule in american politics: never attack an american political opponent while addressing a foreign delegation on foreign soil.
bush broke that rule. and everyone should be angry that he did it.
