Conservative Radio Host Michael Savage Shows No Mercy For Kennedy »
Posted by: TimALoftis 3 months agoOn the day it was announced that Sen. Ted Kennedy had been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, radio host Michael Savage opened his show by interspersing audio of Kennedy singing with clips of news reporters discussing Kennedy's diagnosis and audio from Kindergarten Cop in which Arnold Schwarzenegger's character says, "It's not a tumor.

Now I want you to remember the eloquent things I said in the first Kennedy thread before you freak on me here.
What upsets me the most is the false indignation by the left, after all the nasty things you on this very site said about conservatives that died over the last 12 months? Even saying things like 'who cares if someone just died I can say what I want'. It's no big deal, I know I don't post threads and don't contribute much to the site other than being a straw man but I just wanted to point that out to those that will act like this is the first time anyone said something unkind.

Class is an interesting concept.
It's when a person, good or bad, has a sense of style, a sense of when a word or deed is fitting. Or unfitting.

I don't agree. Since when is vehicular homicide no one else's business?

He gets EVERYTHING Right, Droppy.
In fact, thats the ONLY way he sees stuff. From a Right Wing Perspective.
And not just your everyday, run of the mill, 'Ima Fiscal, Social Conservative' kinda way ... NOPE!
Savage portrays everything, frames everything in a hyperbolic, life and death, "We Conservatives gotta save the nation" kinda way that ... while patently insane ... is GREAT for generating ratings ... and 'Dumbing Down' the listeners to his show.
Well ... the listeners of his show got to be somewhat dumb to start with. Its the base audience.
Sane folks dont listen to stuff liek that. The live life.

There must be some diference between being undiplomaticly blunt, - and just being a cruel jerk.

Wikipedia says that Mary Jo Kopechne died in a car accident. Isn't that like saying JFK died ina car accident? Or that RFK died in a kitchen accident.
Mary Jo had broken her nails clawing at the carpet of an upside down automobile with an air pocket that allowed her to die a slow terrorizing death. Teddy waited 10 hours to tell the police. You or I would have gone to prison but the people of the great Commonwealth of Massachusettes made him a life long Senator.

Well, I dont know if thats criminal or not. If I was in an accident ... I dont know WAHT my presence of mind would be.
But I hear ya!
We gotta hold folks accountable.
Liek maybe we Christian Conservatives should hold GW accountable for bein a draft dodger, lyin to start war, abusin drugs (for a long tiem).
Gw was even in a alcohol induced accident!
Not only that, but in his office ... he let it be knowed that Valerie Plame was an undercover CIA ... and THATS a TREASONABLE OFFENSE!!
---
But thanks for carryin the torch for Mary Jo ... I wisht somebody would carry the torch for the 4,000 plus American soldiers who died on accounta GW's lies.

Sad part of it all is that Savage has an appreciative audience for his un-Christian insensitivity (probably an audience that will loudly profess its Christian sensitivities).

The sad thing is that there are enough Republican extremists that agree with Savage's hate that Savage has a nationally syndicated show. He just feeds the animals the raw bloody meat that they need.

All of the people trashing Savage for taking shots at Kennedy didn't have a problem with taking similar shots at Jerry Fallwell when he died.
I hope that Kennedy makes a full recovery. But the hypocrisy of this board is nauseating.

I had forgotten about that but it wasn't right when they said the hateful things they did about Rev Falwell. We are better than that and I won't stoop to the low tactics the liberals employ. Michael Savage is a jerk and most conservatives I know don't listen to him.
Good luck with your treatment Sen. Kennedy.

Many of the same pompous Nutscape libs who are - justifiably - outraged by Savage's comments were dancing on Falwell's grave when he died. They can take their silly attempt to tar and feather all conservatives by the words of a loose cannon like Savage and stick it where the sun don't shine - after they pull their heads out to make room first, of course.

Michael Wiener is little more than an exhibitionist who enjoys masturbating in public so people will talk about him. He's lost more jobs than a heroin addict and hates himself so much that he'll simply die a lonely, bitter asswipe. I doubt even his parents would be at his funeral.

Talk about having a mental disorder...
Michael Savage is a nutcase. Has been for years. He takes crazy talk radio to a new level of low.

Apparently JQ Tessy and MiKKit thinks it's ok to talk trash about a right winger but their Ted is off limits. The last time someone from the right died in a very nasty thread filled with hate, I predicted that someone on the left would fall ill or die and asked if they left would be willing to have their person spoke of in such manner.
I dislike anyone that talks ill of the sick or the freshly dead, and MS should be shamed for doing that. However, both sides could use more discretion with the said topic, can we not agree?

I'm sure Senator Kennedy wasn't bothered by it. He's seen these slugs all his life in politics, and understands they're intellectually stunted.

Well, I hope Mr. Savagery isn't savaged as much as he savages when it's revealed that he has an incurable disease.

Make's you wonder why Edward, other than the one time, never pursued the presidency, doesn't it? I guess he realized that representing a box of rocks (Massachusetts) didn't carry over to the rest of the nation. Maybe we will finally be rid of the Kennedy dynasty. We can only hope.

mc, When one hears an idea that they believe in that does not make one gullible. So you think hearing another persons ideas causes great damage? Talk about Big Brother.
I don't like Aquakennedy anymore than I like the next socialist but illness and death are not funny. Period.
The people of Taxachusettes love this guy. Not sure why...but they have that right.

bluenote1522----I'm not quite sure what you're saying to me, but my contention is that talk radio is usually black or white. It's extreme both ways. It's simplistic. Where the truth may be gray, or where the truth may be somewhere in the middle, talk radio often advocates one end of the spectrum. It creates simplistic extremists who are only too eager to accept the pablum.
As for Ted Kennedy, he's done a tremendous amount of good. Both parties readily admit that.
Savage is out of line.
