The bizarre striptease was performed by a chubby supply teacher who threatened to punish misbehaving 13 and 14-year-olds by making them look at his body.

Are you all kidding me? This is next to sexual abuse! He is an adult who threatened children with nudity. You say all he did was take off his shirt? What if the kids hadnt stopped? What would have come off next? His pants? He has an obligation to protect these children, what if one of those kids had been a victim of sexual abuse and him taking his clothes off as a form of punishment caused emotional trauma on that child? I have no pity for the guy. he deserves to not only be fired but sentenced to time in jail. What he does on his own time as and with another consenting adult, but he has no right to decide what is sexually ok for someone elses child.

While what he did was in the wrong place; this political correctness has to stop.
Nor was it sexually motivated; it was to gross kids out, like burping or farting does, may be tactless but not earth shattering

"Threatend with Nudity...." Doesn't that just say it all. Take my money, take my money, just don't nude me, pleeeassse! Good grief. Get over your sexual freak phobias. This guy was doing nothing more than getting a bunch of kids to crack up and think he was a cool guy so he could get down to the business of teaching them. I bet he accomplishes a lot more than some prudish school marm that you'd clearly prefer and that they would detest.

Everybodies just too anal!!! Maybe he thought they were remaking an old POLICE VIDEO(i.e. Sting/Stuart Copeland/etc.) of "Don't Stand So Close To Me". You got all these bleeding hearts with their "HOLIER THAN THOU" b.s. it just sickens me how far down the I.Q. chain most people have evolved in this country...Orwell was right "Ignorance is the new flag in American Democracy". I'm with Kafferdie! Are you people kidding! You take God and Prayer out of Schools, you don't want Teachers using corporal punishment on your kids, but now you feel sorry for the Teacher for what amounts to Sexual Abuse? The ugly truth is that our society has become so "Politically Correct" and "Accepting" that now the only thing unacceptable is to excercise restraint, and prudence. This is not "Holier than Thou." Kafferdie is obviously a responsible, discerning adult! This guy needs to at least lose his Job. At the extreme least he is guilty of negligent lack of Judgement. I would not accept my Kids being in his Classroom and if my Daughter came home with this story, this Teacher would be going to the Hospital and I would be going to Jail!

Sexual abuse? Good Lord - some of these ultra-holy comments are worse than the old Puritans. These same idiots would laugh at Jack Black or Adam Sandler doing the same dumb ass thing in a senseless Hollywood movie. This teacher made a goofy ass mistake and used very poor judgment in a desperate attempt to get the attention of a generation of kids with the attention span of a humming bird. I HIGHLY doubt he would have taken his pants off!! I spoke with a female teacher the other day - she observed that increasingly, kids with their video games, cell phones, computers, televisions, iPods, soccer practices and chronic adreneline stimulators are nearly impossible to teach - especially when you have 20-30 in a room. You couldn't pay me enough money. Attention Deficit Disorder is not in the child, it is in the home where mom and dad are rushing around non-stop, providing their kids with techno-frantic baby sitters. Parents, help the teachers - limit your kids frantic techno exposure.

Yes that teacher would have heard of my displeasure about his method, but if my child was one of those acting up he would get more than an ear full.

One more thing: If you are going to charge this gross, comedic overweight stripper with sexual abuse, let's get consistent and include the female teachers who wear short skirts, sensual lipstick or tight sweaters. When I was a young boy, especially Junior High and High School, I remember sporting woodies when some of those female teachers wore more than a loose fitting burka. SEXUAL ABUSE!!!! I was seriously damaged as an impressionable young male. I have lusted after the femme form ever since. Jail them! Fire them! Though I have to admit, they got my attention in class, and kept me from standing up, walking around and disturbing others.

So what your saying is that only sexy slim people can commit sexual crimes? If some bimbo comes into school purposely being sexual with her students in any form then yes she should be charged as such. I do not discriminate. This is a school setting, not the local comedy hall and certainly not the local pool. Teachers are there to teach not be exhibitionists. I have 2 daughters who were sexually abused, this would have mortified them. And my sons, they were brought up with morals and dignity,not only would they not have behaved in a way to be punished in school, but they would have been offended by this teachers behavior. Desensitizing kids to sexual behavior is not the way to get them to behave. The fact that these kids thought that he was hilarious shows how much they have no parental involvement.

"NEARLY SEXUAL ABUSE????" I'm sorry but obviously I have the wrong video link on the article I'm looking at. I saw a fat substitute teacher taking off his shirt while making self depreciating remarks to students that were cracking up. The kind of thing that tends to break through teacher/student barriers, endear a substitute to them as a "cool guy" instead of a stuck up stiff and ends up with getting the students back to the subject matter and actually learning something.... Maybe I'll try reloading the page and see if I get the link to the "near sexual abuse" some of these IDIOTS are seeing...

The thing is that this WASNT the local pool. It was a classroom setting that our tax dollars pay for. The next thing your going to tell me is that its ok to send a strip dancer to your kids classroom as a form of entertainment. Parents are responsible for the BS thier kids are pulling, but its parents like most of you, that think that this type of behavior is permissible and acceptable behavior. When it comes to our children we are responsible for their welfare and well being. Telling our kids that this was just a little wrong and not worthy of punishment, is like telling them its ok to have sex with an unwilling partner as long as you ask politely, or its not really robbery if you dont use a gun. I hope you people dont breed and if you have I hope your kids have someone else in their lives to teach them that right is right and wrong is wrong and there is no middle road between them. Cause if they dont, your kids will be the ones standing in a prison line up.

What you VOLUNTARILY watch on TV or in the theatre, and/or allow your children to view, you support. Children, via television, magazines and theatre learn with their parents tacit or explicit support that sex sells. As a teacher, you should use some restraint and teach proper behavior. The fact that you teach US history does not impress me. If one of your students told you that if you gave them an f on their homework you would die, how seriously would you take that? Perhaps you should take it very seriously. If you think that just because its everywhere, that makes it ok to put it out there to someone elses child, I feel sorry for you and for your kids. Do you honestly think that with all the comments I have made, that soeones appearance and physically attributes have any effect on how I feel about this subject? I dont care if your male, female, fat, thin, sexy or plain. You do not have the right to choose what someone elses child sees. If jo next door beats his chi8ld with a 2 by 4, it does not mean that everyone else can.

What this teacher did was tactless, but you are trying to make it sexual rather than grossing kids out.
And what he did is not out of the norm, males take their shirts off at parks, pools, beaches, and even in gym classes, it is just not the norm in the classroom, but it certainly was not out of the norm.

I'm sure at least one of the kids in that class room gets the crapped kicked out of them at home and they're going after this teacher for trying to make his kids PAY ATTENTION!! It is sad that this is what it had to come to, but every jackass kid has a cell phones, ipods, or worse laptops(rich kids) and trying to win their attention from these devices has become harder than actually teaching a freaking class. I remember when you could have your cassette tape walkmen taken away and never get it back w/ no fear of law suits.
OMG close down the beaches for the summer the children are out of school!! Lest everyone sue for sexual harassment.

Get a grip, lady--this guy didn't do anything that you don't see every day, and from what I could tell, there was NO sexual connotation. I teach classes in a public school from time to time. I have seen many methods in which to try and get your students to relate and focus. If you look at the manâ;¦does he have tendencies of perversion? Was that his intention? Was his method affective? I think his method was very affective and he did not have any perverted intentions, but that is just my opinion. The students were all laughing and bonding with him. For those of you who think this was anything but that, then I say to youâ;¦You have had you head up your ass for way too long and while you live in your little bubble world your society is falling down around your anklesâ;¦WAKE UP! And don't even think about trying to draw me into a rebutâ;¦you are not worth my time.
