Here is the truth of it all.
US fed Iraqi puppets called their "elected government" are being stuffed by Bush & Republicans to say they need US occupation & control there for the immediate future. It is called the "Iraqi Security" agreement.
The groups that are opposed to this are called "militants" and 'terrorists" and their base, towns and neighborhoods are being subject to bombing.
So, don't be so optimistic if Republicans are voted back to power.
If you want to know whatever happened to WMD, chemical & biological weapons and suspected nuclear arsenal, it is better to go ask Colin Powell as he is the one who stood before UN and gave the warning to the world.

You got to be kidding!
We are still in Japan, Germany, S. Korea and God knows where else.
One must understand, we are the Power....like it or not!
Sad, but Dr. King said we should not use or might, but rather our diplomacy.

The "Bad Guys" who hit the towers weren't from Iraq. What is it that the Special Forces are needed for? To protect who from who?
OBL is not an Iraqi and declared war on the U S because of the 1991 Gulf War and our Military Base in Saudi Arabia.
Don't hold your breath until the Bush bunch or their enablers return American sovereignty to Americans. They have stolen a portion of our rights, because we let them and "we" includes the Democrats. Iraq belongs to the Iraqis.
With a War cost approaching $3 Trillion this year and accrued liabilities soaring to $60 trillion, you are correct we are approaching financial collapse.
But there is one group that has profited from this Immoral war. The War Machine, The Oil Companies, The Merecenary outfits, and Certain Big Business. I lump them all into a group that I call the War Machine. They always profit from war. That's why they promote war and do all they can to stir friction between peoples.

Where was the repug fight for a draft to spread this world domination binge across America equally... you won't see it, even if Dumya has called this the ideological conflict of our time... just shows the total hypocrisy of the repugs who should be declared a terrorist organization and banned in America.

The cat is out of the bag. Today's headlines say that Iraq has given oil contracts to EXXON MOBIL, SHELL & CHEVRON. It also says, it rejected bids by other companies from other countries.
Now, it is clear why Bush is pushing for that "Iraqi Long Term Security Agreement" to ensure permanent US troops in about 60 military bases.
So, at long last, it is really "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" for people from Texas. For troops who will left out there, I don't know what to say except HANG IN THERE.
