Over four million Iraqis are living in difficult conditions as IDPs (2.4 million) or refugees in foreign countries (2.2 million).
Over the past year the number of refugees worldwide rose by 2.5 million to stand at 11.4 million, with Iraq and Afghanistan contributing most to these figures, according a 17 June 2008 report by the UN Refugee Agency.
"In Iraq, with the sectarian divide and the lack of a comprehensive political solution, the number of internally displaced rose from 1.8 million at the start of the year to close to 2.4 million by the end of 2007," the report said.

Give those experts a cigar.
I've got a fifteen year old son who already figured that out. The invasion of Iraq has created a terrorist factory. The US seemed to think the region was stable enough way back when it was negotiating with Sadam while he was gassing the Kurds.
The Muslims extremists were of no real threat to anyone but themselves. Sure there was 9/11, but that was a unlucky aberration. They have no navy, not much of an air force, they were no real threat.
Now the US has stirred up a hornets nest that will take generations to settle down, if it ever does. They are training their children to hate the west.
You've got "the decider" and the "uniter" to thank for that.

great comment Chuck...US government used what happened in 9/11 to make the US citizens and the whole west scared of the idea that such things will happen again and in this way they will have the support, sometimes I like to think that what happened in 9/11 was known by the US government and they didn't do anything to stop it just to have the support of their people for the war...or even they might have a hand in it!!! and sometimes I think that Bin Ladin is an agent for the US government just like Saddam...they were doing what US government wanted them to do (even if it looked bad for the US) to carry on their plan.
I'm not saying that this must be the truth, but I'm just thinking that it might be.

Yep. You are a complete lunatic and a fraud. How much money did you sucker people into wiring you in England?
Funny people are dumb enough to believe that crap you post. I read through many of your fake posts on the fake blog. I noticed "Sadr City" consistently is spelled one way in severa consecutivbe posts and then another entirely in other consecutive posts as well as references to events that couldn't possibly have happend in Baghdad - Turkish troops hooting Iraqis - and refences to TV shows not shown in Iraq.
Fraud.

PROOF, please, that the blog in question is a "Fraud", other than your "opinion" based on spelling.
You would not believe it - authentic or not - because you REFUSE to believe that ANYTHING is "wrong" in Iraq and you REFUSE to acknowledge that the Bush administration has effectively DESTROYED that country.
You can call people who speak out about the TRUTH a 'fraud' if it makes you feel better.
People like you are blinded by right-wing spin and are short-sighted.

Agree with you on the conspiracy 911 stuff there, Libs.
Wacko stuff.
Problem is, it's your baby.
You and yours supported the unjustified invasion and occupation of Iraq, making up new reasons as the old reasons faded. That sort of thing encourages people to look for reasons beyond yahoo chicken-hawk-ism.
As for the reality of the blog:
You cite no sources or specifics for calling it fake.
Got any?
TV shows wont work.
I've been watching buffy the Vampire Slayer all week; on DVD. But it could just as easily be cable or downloads from the internet. I did all of 'Lost' on my pc.
And who knows what broadcasts you can get with satelite in Bagdad?
Not you, anyway.

What a travesty this war has been. And if it was done for oil, it didn't exactly work, you could say.
These displaced Iraqis will hate us for a long time to come if we don't do something to help them. Millions of Iraqi refugees. This should be a priority, a responsibility of our government, as we brought this upon them!
The Bush government, and thus we, the American people, must do something to make this tragedy right. This is a humanitarian crisis! This is our doing!
