Not entirely fair to judge a school by a single mistake. Still this school system is considered 1 of best in NJ. Doesn't exactly provide a good example. In fact school system is noted for its attention to detail, competitiveness, etc. This sign must've escaped its normally rigorous Quality Control Dept. [Pretty funny IMO; also sad.]

        that would depend;

        If a student did it then nothing will be done; you might hurt their self esteem.

        If a teacher did it then they will never hear the end of it and may loose their job.

        If an administrator did it then it was a misunderstanding or a malfunction and they will probably get a promotion to the school board.

        If the school secretary did it nothing will be said because they know all the dirt on everyone.

            Shouldn't it be "choral" concert (or, or deference to the school, choral concet)? I know this is nuts but isn't a chorus a group that sings--so, by definition, a chorus is always going to give a concert? Maybe I've just had too much coffee tonight...

                Aw guys, lighten up -- this was obviously a typo rather than a misspelling (you can clearly hear the r). I have received requests from my kids' schools to wear "sandels" for winter in February day, my son's spelling of "scissors" was corrected to "scizzors", and for at least five years, the Superintendent of Schools concluded her "welcome" to kindergarten letter with "If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your principal or myself."

                AAAAARRRRG...

                (Maybe if I add another line Propeller will stop truncating my cry of anguish!)

                (nope, it didn't work)

                  Yeah, people seem to miss that point, the difference between a typo an "mispelling." And for the anal people with spit in the corners of their mouths, yes, I misspelled that on purpose.

                  It appears to me that the writer may have run out of text space on that line of the digital board, and truncated it. Extremely poor judgement, but funny.
