McCain's campaign of mockery may be a double-edged sword »
Posted By UnusualSuspect 2 months ago in NewsWASHINGTON (CNN) -- Forget the Karl Rove playbook. For the past few weeks, Sen. John McCain's team seems to have been working from the equally brutal Don Rickles manual of presidential politics.

Actually it is sad that our corrupt corporate media even presents us with such rubbish. Another corruption that we need to clean out of America.

Why TV news in the US is utter rubbish
It's not just that world events are ignored in favour of celebrity gossip. News anchors skew the facts.

Meet the Establishment: Tim Russert and the death of Journalism
Tim Russert's funeral was the Government, money, status, power, and media establishment complimenting itself of their control of the media and the death of American journalism.

Companies buy Favorable News Stories with Advertising
According to U.S. chief marketing officers, nearly one in five "say their organizations have bought advertising in return for a news story." "10 percent of senior marketers said their organizations have had an implicit / non-verbal agreement with a reporter or editor that anticipated favorable coverage of their company or products in exchange for advertising,"

Journalists, lying sources, and the anthrax investigation
Establishment media obfuscated the anthrax investigation in the deliberate deceit by Government sources. Another case where establishment media possesses -- yet steadfastly conceals -- critical facts about what the Government has done, and insists on protecting the wrongdoers.

Obama talks about his plans and his platform -
Reply
McCain talks about Obama.
That alone is bad enough for McCain.
But one of McCain's well known issues is that he has anger management issues and can be mean-spirited - his continual (attempted) ripping on Obama only serves to reinforce those impressions.
He is really stepping on his putz. -

John won't have any anger issues because he has been medicated during his entire campaign

When majority of people in the country are struggling to make ends meet with highest gas prices, food prices, out of control health care and medicine costs, thousands of jobs being lost every week, this "CLOWN" thinks it is appropriate to run campaign ads with fun & mockery about his opponent.

Has he forgotten how he defrauded thousands of small depositors made up of seniors and retirees out of their life savings in the Keating 5 scandal of 1981? This guy is crook and scum bag and sane people outside this country are amazed at the millions of dumb idiots who are lining up to make this scum bag the president. -

The "new" conservative uses ridicule to ****** the truth. The tactic goes something like this; argue you case until there's no possible way to win- then ridicule your opponent.

It's a dirty way to do bussiness, but if you happen to cling to conservative demagoguery it's how they attempt to win.

Oh but its okay for Obama to spew his nasty venom. And claim it wasnt him and blame some poor low key staffer. Give me a break its politics. It gets nasty.

As an undecided Ohio voter, I have to say that McCain needs to step up his campaign. While watching television last night, I saw at least 6 McCain ads within an hour. NONE of them expressed to me what McCain's plan(s) are. Instead, I saw Obama blamed for high gas prices and compared to celebrities and, at the end of it all, McCain's endoresement of the ad. This tells me nothing about McCain and why he should get my vote, and instead keeps Obama fresh in my thoughts. I'm no genius, but I am capable of listening and forming my own opinions. So far, Mr.McCain has only presented slanted reasons why I shouldn't vote for Mr.Obama, which I find somewhat insulting to my intelligence. If McCain wants my vote, he needs to tell me why he's the best candidate...... instead of why his opponent is not.

I'm increasingly disinclined to view anymore of his ads at this point, they're all about Obama anyway.
Just my 2 cents .....
